Experience : 10+ years of relevant exp
Should have GDPR / DPO certification
Exp in cyber security
Have exp in compliance reporting / risk assessment
Should have done at least 1 GDPR assessment or implementation
Security and legal background

Data Protection Officer Reporting to Group Compliance Director Direct Reports 0 Department Works with Group Board, Executive Committee, Senior Leadership Teams, Legal, Compliance, Risk Servicing, Change and Client Development Location Newport with some travel
This role is responsible for the monitoring that Target Group complies with the relevant data protection laws, in particular GDPR, and highlighting any potential and actual issues to the appropriate management up to and including the Board. Within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, the DPO will chair the Data Protection Risk Committee (DPRC) and report all significant data protection and data privacy risks to the Management Risk Committee and Group Risk Committee, as required. The DPO will serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for the ICO and other EEA Data Protection Authorities on all data protect.
