About the Role
This is a senior Individual Contributor role. The individual will be a part of the larger team and would work in tandem with the stateside counterparts being a lead. This role demands to work on end to end risk assessment activities.
Responsibilities
The primary role of the Senior Associate in records management team will be to support the Wells Fargo Technology s records management function and/or Global Delivery operational risk programs. A very strong background in technology and operational risk management, and the ability to work across a large, complex and highly matrixed organization will be critical.
The selected candidate will focus on the following duties:
Design & implement risk review & assessment methodologies & framework
Lead & facilitate smooth conduct of Risk Assessments
Records management email space, application records managements & physical IT assets records management.
Maintenance of development of Risk assessment strategies, methodologies and related processes and procedures.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; analyze business and/or system changes to determine impact, identify and assess operational risk issues and assigns risk ratings consistent with established policy standards
Report findings and develop business cases to influence senior management on the need for controls to mitigate risk
Coordinate production of periodic operational risk performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommended mitigation strategies
Partner with Compliance teams to support regulatory reviews, audits and other compliance activities as developed and defined
Manage complex business units and work with risk partners to provide technology risk expertise and consulting during global technology projects and initiatives
Collaborate with corporate risk functions to ensure appropriate connectivity to corporate risk initiatives
Manage complex technology business units and provides operational risk support for risk projects and initiatives
Essential Qualifications
5-8 years in leading the Risk Assessments program for a multinational financial institution or equivalent organization
Must have broad knowledge of IT processes
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner. Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation
Must have demonstrated superior professional relationship building and relationship management skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Detail oriented, with ability to manage time and organize competing priorities
Must have demonstrated strong technical writing skills including the proven ability to clearly document activities, processes and test results
Must have superior verbal communication skills including the proven ability to negotiate solutions in challenging situations
Must have strong time management skills and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
