Title : Robotics Engineer / Hardware Engineer - Embedded & Robotics
Location: Hyderabad
Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of DC motors, torque, and science behind the motors and robotics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze engineering designs of logic or digital circuitry, motor controls, instrumentation, or data acquisition for implementation into new or existing automated, servo mechanical, or other electromechanical systems.
- Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new mechatronic equipment.
- Publish engineering reports documenting design details or qualification test results.
- Research, select, or apply sensors, communication technologies, or control devices for motion control, position sensing, or electronic communication.
- Identify and select materials appropriate for mechatronic system designs.
- Upgrade the design of existing devices by adding mechatronic elements.
- Design, develop, or implement control circuits or algorithms for electromechanical devices or systems.
- Design advanced electronic control systems for mechanical systems.
- Create and debug embedded software design programs.
- Assess third party and open source softwares to Integrate and validate in new product developments
Technical Skills:
- Experience in hands-on development Robotics
- Solid programming experience in Arduino/Embedded C and C++ (basics)
- Proven experience in DC Motors & Sensors
- Strong documentation and writing skills
- Microcontroller protocols (I2P, SPI, USB, UART)
- Mechatronics Background
Non Negotiable Skills :
- In depth knowledge : Knowledge of both hardware and software. Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes. Knowing how to read through a component’s datasheet and coming closer to understanding the way it works.
- Troubleshooting ability : Determining causes of operating errors and defining the action plan to rectify those errors
- Equipment Selection : Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job, selecting the right hardware components meeting the requirement and open source software or applications to achieve the desired results.
- Communication Skills : Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Talking to others to convey information effectively. Understanding architectural diagrams and workflow documents related to work.
- Critical thinking ability: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
