Responsibilities

Technology Manager As the API Services Lead in region, the candidate will be responsible for:
  • Responsible for defining, developing and delivering the API and micro-services strategy and solution at scale for the global WFT organization
  • Responsible for building out and owning agile feature teams for all components of the Services program including but not restricted to Services Marketplace and API Gateway solutions
  • Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the API Services solution and manage in-region agile feature teams to deliver per Services road-map
  • Responsible for driving integration of the API services components with all other technology components of the program
  • Responsible for engaging with all stakeholders of the services eco-system including service owners, publishers, subscribers, Application Architects and other Partners (included but not limited to QA, DBA, Cloud, Architecture and Application Support)
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Bachelors of Science
  • 8-10 years of strong software development experience and hands-on experience of managing critical software delivery thru multiple feature teams
  • Experience of working with CI/CD toolchain including Jira, confluence, Bitbucket/GIT/TFS, Jenkins and deployment products
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical team across all levels of management, both written and verbal
  • Experience in matrix management and working in a global organization construct
  • Experience in Development of Services by leveraging Modern technologies.
  • Experience in IAM , API development, API Life Cycle Manager
  • Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the API Gateway solutions such as Apigee, WSO2, Akana, event streaming technology (eg. Kafka) and patterns
  • Experience in Micro services architecture patterns
Desired Skills
  • Degree in Engineering and/or MBA
  • Experience of designing technology solutions for hyper-scale organizations
  • Experience of DevOps tool-chain and continuous delivery
  • Strong understanding of working with global large scale technology organization with global stakeholders
