Job description

The role is to plan, develop, and implement product features across Hungama’ multiple web and mobile app platforms. Make innovative contributions along with the Product team lead. An incumbent will also partner with our Technology and Creative/Design team to create web and mobile products and features that bring joy to our consumers.
  • Manage Hungama’s existing web and mobile apps on multiple platforms, based on strategic priorities, customer feedback, and market research/trends/analytics. Ensure products are delivered on schedule and with high quality results.
  • Manage new product development and feature roadmap from strategic planning to implementation by working with cross-functional teams that include vertical Business Heads, Marketing, Technology, and Creative.
  • Independently generate new product ideas, research / analyze them for feasibility and business impact, and lead implementation of those ideas into products.
  • Brainstorm concepts to continuously understand our consumers’ behavior in order to improve existing products and features that drive higher engagement.
  • Create wireframes, user stories, functional requirements and partner with the UX team on layout and design.
  • Conduct external research and usability studies to understand how customers are interacting with the product and develop enhancements based on the results/ analysis.

Required Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in consumer facing digital product management.
  • Experience bringing an idea from concept to prototype including the ability to document functional requirements, creating wireframes.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies and changes is a must.
  • Experience in usability studies, or studying user interaction with products, and interpreting web and app analytics.
  • Knowledge of design principles and best practices in user experience design, website and mobile app navigation, information architecture, and traffic retention.
  • Passionate, energetic, enthusiastic, creative and takes initiative with an end-to-end ownership.
