Job Description

  • Experience in design and implementation of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence applications, of which last 2 years must be on Cloud. Must have good understanding of Oracle Cloud platforms - OCI, SaaS and PaaS. Should have designed the database using Dimensional Modeling.

  • Data Integration Experience - Strong ELT / ETL expertise using ODI 11g/12c. Must have worked on Packages, Interfaces / Mappings, Procedures, Scenarios and Load Plans, ability to invoke Web Services from ODI and must have used Databases (running in both On-Prem and Cloud environments), Files and XML as data sources. Be able to setup topologies, create mappings, packages, scenarios, load plans. Be able to synchronize data from On-Premise data sources to Cloud and vice-versa. Should be able to create and deploy ODI Packages and Scenarios across multiple environments.

  • It is preferred that candidate be experienced on Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) using ODI as Data Integration tool. Should have the ability to implement Out of the box solution and customize the OOTB solution to meet the client requirements.

  • Experienced on Oracle database writing SQL and PL/SQL code using packages, procedures and functions.

  • Must have worked on performance tuning at various layers in order to optimize the applications throughput.

  • Should have excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills and be able to perform root cause analyses.

  • Should have excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in interacting with the clients to gather requirements and analyze the data flow process.

  • Independently identify areas of improvement and makes recommendations.
